ABOUT US
Our Story.
Jacques and Peter grew up in the same area (Hackney, East London) and also went to the same secondary school and college. Both with a desire for giving back what they feel they would have benefited from whilst growing up in a deprived community, the duo set up Woke Finance. Bringing together Peter’s background of upskilling young people and Jacque’s career trajectory in the investment management sector – the two combine their skill sets to deliver personal finance programmes and workshops which they hope young people will implement into their adult years.

Our Mission.
Woke Finance CIC is a social enterprise that gives young people aged 11-21 access to the knowledge of managing their personal finances thus enabling them to make better future decisions and reach their full potential.
At Woke Finance, we’re keen on raising awareness and tackling financial exclusion, which often contributes to social exclusion. We want to help young people (particularly those from underserved communities) have access to quality financial education and guidance many say they never got at home or in school.
